Freedom and Victory: That’s Her Name!

To have a name is a very special, precious and priceless thing. It’s a symbol of belonging and that you are loved. However, many people in this world have names and yet they do not feel nor are they treated as special, precious and priceless knowing a great love like a sweeping tidal wave of love; a warm embrace on a cool night or a blanket to cover them and keep them safe. This post is for all those who see themselves as the nameless; who see themselves as not special, precious and priceless. For all those who are not receiving such a great love. I want you to know that you are special, precious and priceless before the eyes of God, and Jesus, is willing to fill every empty place you have in you with all His love. I now invite you into my HEART...

I know you are hurting, scared and want the empty feeling you have in the pit of your stomach to leave and never come back again, yet you do not know how. The pains from your past haunt you. You never had someone tell you how special, precious and priceless you are. You cry and cry and cry, and yet the pain doesn’t go away. How I want to come to you in the blink of an eye and wrap my arms around you and whisper to you that everything will be alright. I’m here now to protect you.

I know you want your heart to be healed, to stop hurting and to be whole filled with all the love that you haven’t experienced and have wanted for so long. Beautiful one, I may not be able to be that hero for you, but I know of One who can and will be that hero to you. His name is Jesus, and last night as I thought of you and this morning as I opened up my eyes and was thinking of you, I realized I never stopped thinking of you. I want you to know that God has you on His mind and in His heart and Jesus is ready to come to you and rescue you. Call out to Him, He’s on the way!

The words below were shown to me in a brand new way this morning and it’s a special message for you. If you have felt like your past mistakes are unforgivable and that you are so far from being loved by God and experiencing His presence, look at what Jesus reveals about the beautiful heart of God when it comes to those who are faraway from Him and are in need of love.

“What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish.” (Matthew 18:12-14 NIV)

“Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.”  (Luke 15:4-7 NIV)

What are those words that stand out to you? What stands out to me is:

Wanders away.
Go to look for.
And if he finds it.
He is happier.
•Your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish.

•Goes after until he finds it.
•When he finds it he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home.
•Rejoice with me. I have found my lost sheep.
•I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents.

In this story Jesus is sharing the loving relationship between a Shepherd and His sheep. Sheep are the prime responsibility for a shepherd. If the sheep are taken care of, fed, protected and saved from what wants to harm them and even going after them if they stray away, the shepherd has done his job. Jesus showed me such a beautiful picture of Gods heart through these words He spoke. Gods heart is for all of us. He looks after us. Takes care of us. Provides for us. He is responsible for us, and He loves us so much He is willing to come after us if we stray away, and when He finds us He picks us up and places us on His shoulders. We become very close to Him, and He takes us to His home where we will be with Him and He will ask everyone in His home and all His neighbors to come and celebrate with Him because He has found us when we were scared and lost and in need of a Savior!

The shepherd in this story probably has a simple home, but God has heaven! The people the shepherd calls to celebrate with him when he comes back home with the lost sheep on his shoulders are those who live in the small village he belongs to, but God will call all of His holy angels to celebrate along with Him when we THE LOST SHEEP, return home with Him!

Beloved one, this story reveals Gods heart to all of us who are scared, lonely, depressed, living in fear, regret, guilt and shame, have wondered away, have ran away from our past mistakes, have ran away from all the hurt and pain we feel, are walking around with a pit in our stomachs from all the emptiness we feel and are in need of a Savior. Most of all, this story reveals God is willing and able to come and look for you when you are in need of a hero! Just like the lost sheep that when they are scared, cry out for help or has wandered away and is not aware that a wild animal is near and they are in danger, so you too can cry out to Jesus who is the Good Shepherd, and He will come to your rescue, and place you on His shoulders. Beloved, while you are weak, afraid and tired, Jesus will carry you, and you will know once and for all, that with Jesus you are special, precious and priceless! Jesus loves you, and today He is calling you...Cry out to Him.

JESUS PLEASE COME AND SAVE ME. IM SCARED, LONELY AND NEED YOU!
