Speak Life not death (Matthew 12:36-37)

“Dont pick a fight embrace a Victory.” - F. Lugo
“Revenge restrained is a victory gained.” - Anonymous

Let us pray:
Lord, help me not retaliate
When someone wants to pick a fight;
Instead, give me the strength and faith to show Your love and do
whats right. ―Sper

Have you ever heard the saying, or received the advice; “If you don’t have anything good to say, don’t say it at all.” If so, here are the original words that were spoken, where the familiar saying above finds its origin.

Jesus Speaks: “And I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak. The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you.” (Matthew 12:36-37)

•Idleness = emptiness

•Life is full & Death is empty

In the above text, I rejoice to share with you from the treasury of my heart, from God’s heart, that Jesus is telling us that we should not speak of death, but speak with every word out of our mouths to be filled with life, as Jesus declares, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.” Words that aren’t idle are going somewhere. These words have meaning. These words are intentional. These words will build someone up, and never tear them down. These words will be of increase and NEVER decrease. These words will brighten someone’s day, and not bring sorrow and misery to it. These words will keep others coming back, instead of going away. These words are noticeable and never forgotten. These words speak life into being. These words, will form something out of nothing. These words will revive someone who is dead inside. These words will allow two to come together. These words, are the words you and I are to speak always, and it starts from the heart, moves to the mind, and comes out of the mouth. Amen!

The Word of God says, ‘out of the treasury of a good heart comes good words and out of the treasury of a bad heart, comes bad words.’ (Luke 6:45 paraphrased)

Are you speaking blessings or a curse to God, yourself and others? Even if it’s with the following words “I’m just kidding. I’m just joking,” it’s still idle words spoken. I myself am still learning this principle that was awakened to me from the treasury of God’s very heart. I have yet to arrive at such perfection in my speech to others, but I strive to attain it!

As Jesus was here on earth and created such a forward movement from the words of life He spoke and lived out, and now He is back in heaven in all glory and honor, let us always reflect upward in order to speak life forward into motion. Amen! *Food for thought*

I remember hearing these words somewhere ‘If you stand for love in all you do and say, you will be counted the hero and not the coward.’ Such words bring to remembrance this declaration of life into motion, “The angel of the Lord appeared to him and said, ‘Mighty hero, the Lord is with you!’” (Judges 6:12). All glory to God for illuminating life into life. Amen! God bless us ALL with the revelation of speaking life and not death. In Jesus name. Amen.
