Prime Real Estate

Answer me this: If prime real estate cost much to attain and to inhabit, does it not beg the question; heaven being a place equated to absolute rest and peace, being a prime real estate for souls, why would just anybody be allowed in without paying the price?

With that being said. I now invite you into my HEART...

Jesus said it well and revealed the prime real estate and cost of heaven, in that He said, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no one gets to the Father unless through me.”

Now the word heaven is not mention in the passage above, but Jesus’ immediate audience knew that “the Father” was synonymous with God Himself who is the Maker of heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2; Psalm 146:1-10).

The Word of God reveals that all of Creation reveals the glory of God (Psalm 19:1-4; Psalm 89:5; Psalm 50:6; Psalm 97:6; Romans 1:20) and that God’s will, will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). If earth reveals prime real estate coming at a high price that only those who are willing to pay it can attain it, we can gain knowledge and understanding that heaven, being the most sought after of prime real estate in that all expect to end up in heaven when they die, also comes at a high, and those who can pay the price can get in.

However, a dilemma arises in that God’s Word also reveals that all people of the earth have fallen short of the glory of God and that all have sinned (Romans 3:23; Psalm 14:2-3) in which could be equated to not having enough to buy your way into heaven. What are we as the human race to do?!

The answer is revealed in the first passage above—Jesus.

Jesus is the doorway to heaven (John 10:1-16; John 1:51; Genesis 28:12); the escalator sort of speak, that all things heavenly and that will be in heaven are to gain passage by. Jesus declared it to be so, “heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away” revealing to us a supremacy; an inside track on the prime real estate that all souls are in need of and desire.

Jesus Himself grants Eternal life, in that He declares with authority and power, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” And again, “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my words and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.” And again Jesus reveals this truth that we must come to grips with concerning who He declares Himself to be. He is either a liar, a lunatic or Lord in which He claimed to be (John 13:13).

What Glory Revealed

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have ETERNAL LIFE.

Therefore, at the knowledge and understanding of such a thing, we are left with this: If Jesus is the only way to heaven; the One who offers that which is more precious than gold, food, clothes and even land parcels (Revelation 3:18; Isaiah 55:1-11) and the high price was paid by Him, and none of us can afford to pay or earn our way into heaven, will we receive Jesus now by faith, and call Him Lord and make Him our Savior, as He is the only One who grants Eternal life?
