Walking Down Memory Lane: An Ongoing Series






“Mind Over Matter = I dont mind and you dont matter”



Beloved, this is something I wrote back on Saturday January 22, 2011. It’s great to go over your previous writings, as my pastor (Ps. Troy Gramling) says many times, ‘This is why I believe in journaling. It shows you where you were at, and where you stand today.’


Have you ever heard this phrase before? “Mind over matter. I don’t mind and you don’t matter.” These words I read today, and they broke my heart. Hurtful words and actions should not (matter), yet they do and people do as well. In order to keep such words from coming in between us and our God-given potential, we should make it a habitual practice, to always keep our (mind) on things of excellence.

As the Word of God shares such wonderful insight into the path of living out and achieving our God-given potential, let us take them in and store them into the treasury of our hearts. Amen.


Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things (Philippians 4:8).
