Death is conquered, why fear?

With so much death seemingly creeping about, and worry mounting up, I felt compelled to write this. Be of good cheer my brethren, the Savior Lives!

We may read on an epitaph "Here lies..." and possibly an audience around the tombstone weeping and in mourning, and possibly cleaning and arranging the site with flowers and prayers possibly being offered. For the believer this is quite the contrary. Why? As...

We know that we have passed from death to life...(1 John 3:14 NKJV) Why? because, "He [Jesus] is not here; for He is risen, as He said." (Matthew 28:6 NKJV)...We should look into the shadow of death, knowing a shadow cannot hurt us and say "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the [shadow of death], I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. (Psalm 23:4 NKJV)...to which with great confidence in our life and the lives of all believers in Jesus, rejoice gladly and say boldly “Death is swallowed up in victory.” “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” (1 Corinthians 15:54, 55 NKJV)...to that, let us not look at death and fear, but let us be as such and have "a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. (Philippians 1:23 NKJV)...and this is to be 'absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.' (2 Corinthians 5:8 NKJV) Amen!

We serve a mighty God, who is with us. Protects and guides us. Provides all we need. Is Strong and Courageous in the sight of adversity and death. He counsels us, and helps and comforts us in our weakened state. He is a truth teller, a promise keeper, knows the future and what is coming. He is Victorious, and has never known defeat. He is powerful, and in total control. He is... Our God!

Not only is He our God, but He's our Father. Not only is He our Father, He's our Lord. Not only is He our Lord, He's our Savior, and not only is He our Savior, He is of His Word! and that Word is everlasting to everlasting. All Glory to our great God and Father, who we know in all unwavering faith, sent our Lord and Savior in whom we are set FREE!

Children, give Him all the Praise! all the Glory, and all the Honor in this age and the next forever and ever. Amen!

You are loved.
