SUMthing to think about (a series) Part 6: Commandments = Not Free

[A Teaching on Matthew 5: 17-20]

Let us pray:

Father God, we thank you for all that you are, and all that you will always remain to be. May you bless our hearts and minds, with Truth, and the ability to accept, know, and be of Truth. We thank you, and praise you. In Christ our Lord, we pray. Amen!

Here is the Truth in weight, in these words. Nothing God has already done, can be changed, but must continue. We are not here to say 'you are not to obey the Laws of God' (as it is the Law, for those who cannot be governed by the Spirit only).

-God's Law (10 Commandments): To be governed by the Law of God (not walking by Faith, but crippled by sight).

Therefore, if you are crippled (finding yourself lacking faith in anyway, as we all have been there, or are there) and you cannot enlarge your Vision, to a freedom that solely comes from God, but choose to follow Him by His laws (in complete), you shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but through a harsh living in this world on earth.

What's sad, is the fact that many will obey God, but through His Law, which even more sadly, had to be implemented for His children (who were meant to be free from Law, by God's Free Spirit) who could not fathom (understand, grasp, conceive) a freedom that was always rightfully theirs through God's grace. In this, I lament (share much sadness) with my Father.

Matthew 5:20 (New King James Version)

20 For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

[What was Jesus saying here? Through the Spirit, and only through the Spirit of God, True Righteousness will come, as all the scribes, and Pharisees (teachers and writers of the Law) followed, and were indeed condemned by the Law.]

*Jesus was never governed by the Law, but lead freely with full wisdom and understanding in the Spirit, yet He acknowledged and respected the Law* Food for thought.

Advice for Life: Do not shackle yourself by the Law, but free yourself, by choosing Christ our Lord and Savior, and be free through God's beautiful Spirit. Amen!

All my love in Christ the Lord,
Flavio- Mighty Man of God
