I tell you the Truth! For all those who like the limelight, become an actor or actress, as being a messenger for God is not about the praise of man, but for the Love of God.
[Prayer]
When the Lord spoke on prayer, He showed us, what many have come to know as "The Lord's Prayer."
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Now the Lord was simply saying, when you speak to God, our Father, you are giving praise to Him, asking for guidance, and strength to do His will, and that you will follow Him, if He leads you, forever.
[Fasting]
In the same light, we are to do all things for the Lord, and not for others.
Refrain from the world in all ways (fasting), not because others say you should do it, but because God has called you to be solely of Him, for Him, every moment of your life.
Fasting, should not be a ritual to gain something, but your lifestyle! Simply, because God created you in His image, and He is not part of anything evil.
Advice for Life: If you can adopt such a way of life, the One who sees all, and has made you, will be your Blessing, and Inheritance. *Food for thought*
