A life lived to experience the praise, majesty and glory of God

The fear of The Lord is the beginning of wisdom. From wisdom comes knowledge. From knowledge comes revelation. From revelation comes understanding. From understanding comes purpose. From purpose comes the mission. From the mission comes fulfillment. From fulfillment comes glory.

How can any of the above occur in our lives, if we are so caught up not noticing God’s wondrous works? These words are a starting point, “I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty, And on Your wondrous works.” (Psalm 145:5 NKJV)

The present state of ourselves, are a people consumed in the everyday “to-do’s” of life, and meditating on God’s majestic ways and all His wonderful works in all of this world and the Universe, seems incomprehensible to us.

“How easily we grow accustomed to our surroundings and dulled to things that are familiar—even places and experiences that once brought great delight. Although God’s glory is clearly displayed all around us, sometimes the busyness of everyday life blocks our view. We take for granted His amazing work in our lives. We lose the wonder of the cross. We forget the privilege of being His child. We neglect the pleasure of His presence and miss the beauty of His creation.”
— Our Daily Bread

I’m here to tell you that today is just the day, to experience a turnaround. To stop checking of that long list of things to do, and take in how beautiful our earth is. How beautiful people can be. How amazingly complex to us is the universe in all it’s mysterious beauty, and how majestic is our great and loving God, that He displayed His endless compassion and mercy at the Cross of Christ. Amen.

We can see Him. We can experience Him. We can be moved, changed and transformed by the faithfulness of God... We absolutely can!
