Ever The Conviction: The Spiritual Ramifications of Proverbs 24:11

It has been a little over three years from when this was originally inspired and written. However, it remains true today as it was then and shall remain true forever. How I pray, God in His power and in His great love, will cause me and anyone else who has been called by Him, loved by Him and has made Himself known to them, to be those who embody the following: To become those who will seek those who have become lost and bring back those who have strayed or been driven away. To bandage the  hurting and injured and strengthen what is weak and made sick (see Ezekiel 34:16).  Amen. With that being said, desired and prayed for. I now invite you Into My HEART.

Rescue those who are unjustly sentenced to die; save them as they stagger to their death.
(Proverbs 24:11)

“Don’t excuse yourself by saying, “Look, we didn’t know.” For God understands all hearts, and he sees you. He who guards your soul knows you knew. He will repay all people as their actions deserve.”
(Proverbs 24:12)

•‘Rescue those who are unjustly sentenced to die’
  1. Beloved ones, what is that great disservice to the human race we as believers could serve up to them? If we know they do not know about Christ and they are living in sin and we have seen that God has provided a way for them to hear of Him or experience His kindness through us and we do nothing. For when opportunity is presented to hear of Jesus and opportunity is not seized, those who could hear and weren’t able to, that is an unjust sentencing. For the believer to seize the moment is to rescue those who would inevitably die, apart from Christ. The Lord give us the courage to never back down but always step up. Amen.

•‘save them as they stagger to their death’
  1. One who staggers is one who walks aimlessly through life like one who is drunk off of sin’s intoxicating affect. To save them is to share Christ with them.

Now if we place both the above equally together and put it to good use, we have God-given opportunities present before us, not allowing ourselves as “true” believers and “faithful” servants of the Lord to never provide a great disservice but to serve our fellow man as God wills through kindness, gentleness and wisdom from God, so that they may hear of, know of and experience the love of God through Jesus Christ the Lord.

Whatever gift and talent you have by way of the Holy Spirit if you know of them by now, and usually there’s multiple gifts and possibly one extraordinary talent, put it to good use and do it with all the love, all the grace, all the courage, all the diligence, all the urgency and with all the wisdom and humility given to you in Christ. So that in doing so with the measure of faith you have, Christ is glorified, He is praised by others and yourselves and the victory in Him we shall experience when others call on Him and believe in His name. Amen.

As always…YOU ARE LOVED.
