Walking Down Memory Lane: An Ongoing Series (part four)

“I Love you so Lord... that I wanted to thank you”

“Beloved, a perpetually thankful heart to God for all He has done, is doing and will do, reigns supreme over all things. Nothing can stop it. Nothing can bring it down. Even once it beats it’s last beat, everything it was thankful to God for, will never cease but continue to live on, blessing others. Amen.” — F. Lugo

I wrote this on 1/30/2011 at 1:12 a.m. See what good thing God brought out of this time of night

Beloved, as I resided in a place that at that moment in time I had no privacy, was often ridiculed for my faith and surrounded by yelling, arguing and much noise. God created a moment, where I couldn’t go to sleep because there was so much thankfulness in my heart for what great things God had done for me despite my situation, surrounding and circumstance, that I had to write them all out— God is faithful like that, and in the whole year I “pitched my tent there,” God called on, revealed Himself, saved and restored two people back to His image; to have the right to be called children of God through their faith in Jesus Christ. Amen!

I love you so much Lord, thank you for loving me.
I love you so much Lord, thank you for waking me up in Spirit and in Truth.
I love you so much Lord, thank you for my day.
I love you so much Lord, thank you for making me smile.

I love you so much Lord, thank you for feeding me.
I love you so much Lord, thank you for protecting me.
I love you so much Lord, thank you for teaching me.
I love you so much Lord, thank you for guiding me.
I love you so much Lord, thank you for patiently waiting on me.
I love you so much Lord, thank you for investing in me.

I love you so much Lord, thank you for the animals you gave me.
I love you so much Lord, thank you so much for my mom— she needs you.
I love you so much Lord, thank you for my brother— he’s hurting without you.
I love you so much Lord, thank you so much for taking away my hurt, my pain, and all my crumbling world.

I love you so much Lord, thank you for introducing me and accepting me into all of your existence.
I love you so much Lord, thank you so much for every time you gave me and my family a comfy pillow to place our heads down on.

I love you so much Lord, thank you for always listening to me— I know I talk a lot.
I love you so much Lord, thank you for everyone who has always cared and provided for me— I love them so much!

I love you so much Lord, thank you even when I have nothing to say— You always smile, and then get your Word in.

I love you so much Lord, thank you so much for my night.
I love you so much Lord, thank you so much for giving me your Word.
I love you so much Lord, thank you so much for never leaving me.
I love you so much Lord, thank you so much for always thinking highly of me and that you will never forget about me.

I love you so much Lord, thank you for my mind that always wonders into you.
I love you so much Lord, thank you for my mouth that cannot stop speaking of you.
I love you so much Lord, thank you for my hands that want to build for you.
I love you so much Lord, thank you for my feet that are always prepared to walk with you.

I love you so much Lord, thank you for my heart that breaks for your children— How we need you so much.

I love you so much Lord, thank you for lifting up my life by laying down your life. Truly, thank you so much for this one. Without it! I could never know you.

I love you so much Lord, thank you for the privilege and honor of saying, “I love you and thank you so much!”

I love you so much Lord, that my sleep I put on hold to say, “I love you and thank you so much!”

Your child,
Flavio.

Psalm 27:4-5 (my life’s aim, prayer and petition)
The one thing I ask of the Lord—the thing I seek most—is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple. For he will conceal me there when troubles come; he will hide me in his sanctuary. He will place me out of reach on a high rock.
