“We Need To.”

WE NEED TO STRIKE.These are The words I overheard one morning out of the mouth of a man disturbed emotionally and discontented with his life, his choices, his work and without knowing Christ as His Savior and Lord, had no purpose. Receive the Word of God now as I invite you Into My HEART...

Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips. (Proverbs 4:24 NIV)

Beloved one, recently I heard (that being on April 1, 2015) a young man who clearly is unstable in his mind and unhappy in his work say out loud to some of his fellow co-workers, “we need to go on a strike.” I am a observant man, thanks be to God in Christ for that, and may He always give me (you, I, all of us who are abiding in Him the following) wisdom and sound judgement and discernment on what I observe and allow my ears to hear and eyes to see and the response towards such observances. Amen.

As observant as I am, when I heard this young unstable and unhappy man who does not listen to reason as I have spoken to him on previous matters coinciding with this, now more than ever according to God’s Word above, I realize that when we speak perverse things and our speech is corrupt, not only does it come from a heart that harbors such, it always looks to gather others in on it (Proverbs 1:10-19)!
As the title goes: “We need to” surely sums it up. Unfortunately, for many in the world today as it was with Christ in His day, a people will hear sound wisdom and sound judgement. They will hear a mouth without perversity or corruption speak to them and yet they will turn away as they love their ways more than God’s ways (John 3:19-21).

Whether it be an uprising in our hearts to cause division at our place of employment, to make havoc in all walks of life or to create dissension within the family of God and the Church of Christ, I pray, we will all start with ourselves, not with ‘we need to,’ but rather, “I need to.” Amen.

If you want change in your life in order to affect change; a change you can live life with contentment and go to sleep in peace at night and not worry, it must begin with you first. It must begin with you and I. It must begin in our hearts as “For out of it spring the issues of life.” (Proverbs 4:23). It must begin with you hearing wisdom and sound judgement and this only comes out of the mouth of Christ (Luke 4:4; Deuteronomy 8:3).

As always…YOU ARE LOVED.
