Stand for Israel: Christian Pledge

Beloved, if you have come to confess and profess yourself as a Christian; as a follower of Christ, you have come to know the Lord’s heart for His people Israel and that special place Jerusalem (Luke 13:34, 14:41-42; Psalm 122:6; Psalm 135:4) as well as His heart for His Church and His Church concerning Israel (Isaiah 40:1-2; Ephesians 3:6; Titus 2:14; 1 Peter 2:9) that we the Church of Christ will know that we along with Israel are both quite special before the eyes of the Lord our Great God and Savior.

As the people of God whether Jew or Gentile (non-Jewish), we must stand with Israel (1 Timothy 5:8; Matthew 25:40; Isaiah 62:1,6-7; Romans 15:27) when her enemies rise up against her, even when her enemies disguise themselves as the so-called Church (Matthew 5:19). Anyone who denies Israel’s right to freedom and to protect herself, does not stand true with the Lord God who calls Israel the apple of His eye (Deuteronomy 32:9-10; Zechariah 2:8) and has brought His salvation message through His people the Jews (John 4:22; Romans 9:4-5). Know this: If not for the Lord’s workings in and through Israel the rest of the world would never be reconciled to God (Romans 11:15, 26, 28).

Blessed be the Holy One of Israel!

I pray O Lord, on this day, we will all be blessed by you to have a heart, a mind, a body and a soul that longs to make Israel our destination for travel (Psalm 48:13) and see her with our own eyes and hear her with our own ears and come to love her as you love her, that we may come to know her more personally and intinately, as you have said, “salvation is of the Jews.” In Jesus name, I pray. Amen
