| Umbrellas |
As I was watching Batman Begins, there was a scene early in the movie where there's a funeral service for Bruce Wayne's parents who were murdered. As I saw an umbrella being held, the below words came to me like LIGHTNING!
Small, medium, large and extra large sized umbrellas. Tents, beach umbrellas, patio umbrellas. Personal and compact umbrellas. Kept in the car, by the front entrance of the house or by the door. Whether in the trunk, used to shade out the sun or carried in hand. Expensive, moderately priced or cheap umbrellas. Umbrellas sold in stores, at ball games or by the street side. Umbrellas of different colors or patterns, made at different facilities and distributed by different companies all share the same thing... They all have the same blueprint.
We too, as human beings, come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, colors, backgrounds, talents, education, upbringing, beliefs and place of birth. Yet we all share the same blueprint... Jesus.
Get to know your Maker; the blueprint and foundation of who you are— Get to know the Lord Jesus.
