Living as a Healer

Beloved, I heard and I read that the population of this world has grown to 7 Billion people. That’s a lot of people. That’s a lot of voices speaking and wanting to be heard. That is a lot of happy times I hope, but from the news that we take in about the whole world, it’s an alarming reality more and more, that it’s a lot of pain, hurt, broken-hearts, sorrow, sadness, despair, anger, destruction and violence out there.

Those 7 Billion voices most likely are crying out to be helped, to be loved and to be understood.

Those 7 Billion precious lives, that can fill me with great hope, joy, inspiration, a driven passion and hope, have also made me cry for hours on end, have burdened me to no longer be part of the problem but a part of the solution. Those voices are what drives me to pursue God, and invest all of myself to effect change in this world.

To me 7 Billion is my favorite number, because 7 Billion is what always has my Father and God’s attention. Amen.

Dealing with Unexpected Difficulties

God bless you, keep you and increase you on this day beloved in Christ Jesus. Amen.


Father, I am moved to pray for all who take in these words. Father there is no other amongst the living or the dead that compares to you. None! I praise You for choosing me to preach the Word of Truth and freedom! I confess to You that it is a tall order for me, and I have shrunk back in fear many times, but I also confess You My Holy Father, are faithful and true to Your Word! You do not leave me. You do not abandon me, and in Christ Jesus I have the victory! Therefore, let it be known and let my life be an everlasting thanks to You for Your renewed mercies over my weakness. Your grace and compassion to forgive my sin, and to the glory of Your Son in dying for me, and for all who would believe in Him! I pray, You continue to lift up your servant and child that he may proclaim boldly truth and freedom that comes only by Your Righteous Word! That they may know You, and that I will experience eternal fellowship with You in proclaiming Your Good News in the name above all names, Jesus Christ. It's my prayer that by the end of this, many will have a greater scope and foundation that You Lord are the Great Healer; Precise Physician who brings true healing to the heart, mind, body and soul. Forgive So You Can Be Free

There is a way to get rid of the hurt, the pain, the rejection. There’s a way to get rid of those things that have happened unfairly to you that are now a sickness to you, that keep you from experiencing joy, peace and love. It’s called FORGIVENESS.

Awakening (defined by Dictionary.com): rousing; quickening; the act of awaking from sleep; a revival of interest or attention; a recognition, realization, or coming into awareness of something; a renewal of interest in religion, especially in a community; a revival.



Father, Your Son said to us, how much more would your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him! (Luke 11:13)

My Uncle Paid The Price

As I read is the Book of Leviticus to further embrace my prayer, passion and desire to know my Savior Jesus for all He is, I am pleasantly blessed to discover what the above verse means. In context, it speaks about sacrificial offerings to atone for ones’ sins.

Out of context, in speaking directly to the verse above, it’s defined as: The laying of the hand on the head of the sacrificial offering (an unblemished animal in this case) symbolized the person’s complete identification with the animal as his substitute— The animals perfection for the mans imperfection.

Beloved, just now as I am studying up for something BIG the LORD is speaking into me to write, I was reminded of a time when I was a little boy and my uncle paid the price for my mistake.

Hard Like Rock... Soft Like Clay

I say Amen. Beloved, today’s post speaks to PURPOSE. Many of us may walk around in our day as insignificant individuals, so much so, we may very well see ourselves as a small ant or a fading shadow, but God is faithful, and He has appointed me to encourage and inspire a great many. So take courage today, and as you read on, know that YOU ARE LOVED.

He may not be considered big in stature by any means, but I believe his GOD POTENTIAL surpasses all the mountains of this big blue earth.

Quiet Time: Devote Some Time

“We all need it, and it’s available to all who desire it. Whichever way it comes in your life... make it personal.”

Beloved, today I come to you with some distressing news.Yesterday, I didn’t experience my quiet time with the Lord, and my day was filled with anxiety, heaviness of heart, consuming thoughts, and fatigue.

I felt trapped, and unable to escape in my day. Instead of things flowing well, there was a sense of struggle as if pushing against a wall. Instead of experience the Lord’s joy I felt I had to push hard in order to have some peace.

After my morning and afternoon, there was a break in my struggle as I went walking with my beloved (Mishel). Our walk together was certainly good, healthy and relaxing but I was missing that connection with the Lord— My Quiet Time with Him.

Just before going to bed as is my custom to do now, I choose a word to look up in my Bible. This word was faithful. As I read many verses in scripture that spoke about how faithful God is, how the faithful in God live, I was so grateful to God for His faithfulness simply as a loving God and His faithfulness to see our journey all the way through to completion.

These are the words, I spoke directly to God just before I went to bed (12:30 a.m. 9/13/2012):

“Beloved, as my day has come to a close and I am ready to rest now, I wanted to share what I said to the Lord moments ago. ‘You are so faithful. Just as You extend grace and mercy, I too, pray and ask, knowing that I am human and capable of weakness, will extend grace and mercy as You have done all my life! You didn’t extend Your grace and mercy to me once, not twice, not even a thousand times. But every moment of my life!’

Beloved, God is faithful, gracious and merciful. Please do not allow this world or Satan to sink lies into you otherwise. We are all capable of weakness, but God is faithful to hear and answer the prayers of those who truly desire to acknowledge Him for who He really is.I thank the Lord I could experience such a blessed moment and end to my day, and pass it along to you.”

Quiet time to many of us may come in the morning... even very early in the morning, or just when we are about to go to sleep. I suppose it depends on our schedules and responsibilities, but one thing is for sure! Quiet time with our Creator God is necessary if we want to experience the very best we can, and not experience struggle but rather the Lord’s peace that leads to joy. Amen.

I’m not sure where you get your quiet time in with God, but if you have experienced a day like my day yesterday, you already know the importance of putting God first— God is our portion, blessing and joy. As the Psalmist put it so transparently:

“O God, you are my God, and I long for you. My whole being desires you; like a dry, worn-out, and waterless land, my soul is thirsty for you.” (Psalm 63:1 GNT)

You can just hear the cries for affection. The need to draw near to God. The need of God’s presence in this individuals life, then he could receive his portion, blessing and joy from the God he sought out with all that he was... Amazing!

A simple solution that has helped me out

1. A simple Prayer: God, connect with me here, as I seek you in your Word.

2. Your Starting Point: Begin with focus and openness to see what God has for you.

3. When reading your bible: Read the selected section of Scripture slowly. Take note of intriguing words and phrases and read them a second time.

4. Think about what you just read: Reflect on what strikes you as you read. Think through what God is communicating to you at this point in your life.

5. Quiet time at its peak: Respond to the passage. Speak to God directly about what’s on your mind and heart. Look for ways to live out what you’ve uncovered.


Beloved, as I have experienced the parched feeling within my soul of not drawing near to God, I pray my words and my experience, will further spur you on to seek God out in quiet time, as well as with your whole heart, mind, body and soul. Amen.
