Love Week (Part 7): If you love God praise God

A prayer of praise to the Lord our God.
by Flavio A. Lugo

Beautiful and wonderful God. Hear my words now for they come from my heart.
This is my life's anthem to You. May it be so unto You forever! In my life, through my family.
I am Yours! Amen.

I caught a glimpse of Your splendor at the corner of my eye. You remember that day. I remember that day. You came like a thief in the night and stole my heart forever.
The most beautiful thing I ever seen.
Truly, it was like a flash of lightning reflected off the sky illuminating into my heart, my life, my everything.
I know I'll never be the same.

Show me Your glory my God. Send down Your presence I want to see Your face my King.
Show me Your glory!
Power, glory, dominion and majesty shines about You and I can't go on without You Lord.

Holy Father in heaven may You forever be glorified.
You are Lord over all Creation. Both water, earth and sky.
Glory to the Lord on high!
You are the God of wonders beyond our galaxy.
The universe my God declares Your majesty.
You are Holy, Holy, Holy.

I praise You for You are to be praised!
May we forever long to see You.
May we be forever reminded of Your grace.
Righteous Father, You and You alone are to be glorified.
Your grace brought the Beautiful Savior.
Your Love endured through the Righteous Servant.
Your love, Ohh Your love! persevered that we may all be saved by the precious blood of the Christ. Amen.

Your Love we have heard and seen. How precious are your thoughts of us.
May Your name be glorified above all others, above all else, above all that may be in our lives. Amen.

Glorious Father and God! May You forever have dominion over our hearts.
You are to be praised! for You are God! and there is none like You.
You have saved me from the gun.
You have saved me from the mocker.
You have saved me from the tempter.
You have saved me from the poisonous drink.
You have saved me from myself! Glory to Your name forever! Amen.
You have saved me from the lust that spoke to me from the darkness.
You and you alone have saved me from the flames that were meant to burn me up and swallow my life.

Wise Father, I praise You because Your mercies endures forever!
You know the end from the beginning.
All the worth in this world and the next to come belong to You and You alone!

You are the everlasting God!
You're the defender of the weak. You comfort those who are in need.

Everlasting Father, glorious are Your ways. Lift us up that we may soar like eagles my God!
You are peace to a weary soul. Amen! Your name be praised forever!

Beloved Father, our cries You hear. Our prayers You answer. Your timing is impeccable, and Your Word is a delight.

Our Father in heaven, holy is Your name.
Your name triumphs throughout the ages..You are God!
You! have created us, Your name be praised!
Your Word, like a light spoke out to the darkness and illuminated our hearts. Your name be praised!
You have showered Your love to those who have loved Your name for a thousand generations. Your name be praised!

You and You alone, delivered us by hand and strong arm out of our captivity that we may know that You are God our Savior! Your name be praised!

You and You alone are a lamp unto our feet and a light to our path. Your name be praised!
You lead us in the darkness. You deliver us from the enemy. You keep us safe; You are a fortress. Your name be praised!

Father, what can be said of You? My God, My God if you are for us! then who dare be against us!? Amen. Your name be praised!

Merciful Father, Your Son we declare. His name saves! Your name be praised!
We look to You for guidance and You deliver.
We look to You for a Word, and it never returns void but always accomplishes its purpose. Your name be praised!

Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty...Holy...Holy is His name! Amen!

My Lord, You love us, You provide for us, You protect us.
My Lord, You console us, You counsel us, You help us.
My Lord, You direct us, You lead us, You never forget or abandon us.
Your mercies Oh Lord, endures forever! Your name be praised! Amen.

My Lord; My God, You are the love of my existence! Into my heart You came.
Your merciful, compassionate hand reached out to me and out of the ashes I am.
As I stumbled in the darkness You were mighty to save me! Your mercies endures forever!

You framed me in the darkness of the womb.
You breathed life into me and knew me before anyone else.
In Your image I am. Out of Your love I was begotten.
I am purpose! I am power! I am a prayer answered! I am Yours!

How well You know me. How complete You Love me. You are my God!
Your love is so beautiful. Your embrace gives me life! I am Yours and You are mine!
I have a jealous love for You, and You have a jealous love for Me! You are my wonderful God! and I will follow You all the days of my life!

Oh Father, You are love, You are life, You are hope, and all my sins are forgotten. Amen!
You my Father, are a father to me. You have taught me. You have raised me. You are with me.

You encourage me. You spur me on to continue, and I see You. I know You. I feel You. I hear You.
You move me to climb, to achieve, to be what others say I wont be, can't be, shouldn't be.
Nothing compares to You. No one compares to You.
Your love, Your embrace. When I am low You pick me up. When I fall, You pick me up.
When I am lost, You reach out and call my name, and I hear You!

My heart sings Your name my Lord. My heart rejoices in You my God!
My heart will sing a song to You and only You. You are my God!
I will sing to no other. My heart dances in Your presence. How can it not!? You are the melody; the anthem of my heart, of my existence.
May You forever reign in my heart; in my life! I praise You my God!

You are love. You are life. You are truth. You are power.
You're the air that I breathe. You are the voice that speaks to me. Out to me!
You my God, You taught me to love. To be kind. To be compassionate. You are my day and my night!

How can I not follow You forever. You call out to me. You lead and I'll faithfully follow.
I can't live without You my God and My Savior!
Apart from You I am nothing, but in You and with You I am all things onto all men. Amen.

Holy Spirit You are a comfort to me. Without You I would have no words of life to speak.
I praise You Lord Jesus for Your obedience. By You my Lord, precious Father sent us the Helper.
You are to be praised! You are to be glorified! Let it be cemented both here on earth and in heaven forever! Amen.

My God. My God You and You alone gave me faith to believe. To stand. To walk. To talk. To love unconditionally and sacrificially. You are my God! and My Savior! I am Yours!

How can I ever leave You!? Where would I go!? You are life. Your words are life.
Without You I am nothing. Apart from You I can do nothing. In You. In You! all things are possible.

Father, I thank You for my day. For this day, I will rejoice in You because of You. In this day, I will love. In this day I will declare. In this day I will praise You. Amen! amen.

You my God, You are my King. You are Lord! You are my Savior. You are my hope. You are my dream. You are my desire. You are my beginning and my end! You are my bread; my portion. You are my water; my source of life!
You are my everything! Your faithful name be praised! Forever and ever. Amen! and amen.

Hallelujah to Lord of heaven and earth.
Precious Lord reveal Your heart to us. Oh how we need You Lord!
Lord God Almighty! You are holy.
Lord You are holy. Jesus is holy!
Praise His precious name, our faithful Savior; our Lord...YOU ARE KING! Amen!

You are a friend and a brother to all who receive You, and the Father in Your holy precious name. Amen.
Thank You for that Lord Jesus!

As for me and my family, WE WILL SERVE THE LORD! AMEN!

All you children of God. All you angels in heaven. All of Creation...Give our great God praise forever!
For His mercies endures forever. Amen!

Love Week (Part 6): Love Connection

"Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love." (1 John 4:8)

Did you know that when I'm loved the very best of me comes out!? I smile more, laugh more, I'm more affectionate. I share more. I think of others more, and actually look forward to seeing them. It's a funny thing how the opposite occurs to me when I don't feel loved. I'm glad that everyday I feel loved, and know that I am loved. This world would not be a pleasant place with me in it if I wasn't loved. I'm glad that God is love. He loves us. He's always thinking good thoughts towards us. He sent His Son Jesus to die for us for love's sake. What an amazing gift God's love is to us every moment of everyday. No one wants to be around a grouch. I know I certainly don't. Thank God! for prayer. Prayer for yourself, for those in your life and others who yours and their paths will meet. To that, I can honestly say God is good.
I wanted to share with you God's love and how if we follow three EASY steps in prayer we can all share in the Love Connection that Jesus and His Father shared.

Jesus Prays for Himself
Jesus spoke these words. Lifted up His eyes towards heaven, and said:
“Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. 2For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. 3Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. 4I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do. 5And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.
Jesus Prays for His Disciples
6“I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word. 7Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you. 8For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me. 9I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours. 10All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them. 11I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name—the name you gave me—so that they may be one as we are one.12While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled.
13“I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them. 14I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. 15My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. 16They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. 17Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. 18As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. 19For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.
Jesus Prays for All Believers
20“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.22I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: 23I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
24“Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.
25“Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. 26I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.”

In the above words from Jesus; the Son of God, we see a very easy and detailed outline for prayer. We pray for ourselves that God will always work mightily through us then others may know of Him. We see that prayer for our brothers and sisters in Christ is not to be removed from this world as hardships will come as we know, but that God the Father will protect them from the evil one; being the devil. Also we see that we ourselves the ones who pray, are to remain to God, not being of this world, then others will see our lives and imitate us. And last but certainly not least, we are to pray for those who will come to Christ. Being a continuous example to them letting them know of God's love, that we are all to remain to God; in Christ through His love that is binding in perfect unity. Amen.

I do hope and remain praying that these pages of God's heart into my heart will find there way no matter what! into all of your precious hearts. That the Love Connection God models for us will be the Love Connection we will all model for others. Amen.
As always...YOU ARE LOVED.

Love Week (Part 4): Labor of Love

Let us pray:
Father and God I thank you for all that you do in and through my life. I thank you that you will always meet me in every area of my life as I move into action. Holy Father, I thank you for the Labors of love you place into our hearts and our lives, that allow us to see that you care for us and desire for us to be known by you, and that we are all Your family in Christ. Thank you for Your grace, Your renewed mercies daily and an unwavering compassion that always allows us to know intimately of Your perpetual love for us. Everlasting Father, we give You all the glory and praise, in Jesus precious name. Amen.

Faith is a labor of love, as it is written, ‘These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them...’ (Hebrews 11:13 NKJV). As we read throughout the Bible and as we see throughout our lives, by faith all things were done. By faith all things are believed. By faith we labor (that is moving into action) our love for others. By the very action of God being always available through the Lord Jesus' labor of love when He walked carrying His Cross to lay down His life for a sacrifice sufficient to wipe away all sin to which it would stand forever available to us to be, forgiven forever. —In that labor of love it was done by faith being at work in Christ and through Christ. Amen.

Our labor of love, that is, all those who are called according to His purpose, being that to proclaim God’s love by the lives we live, to others as a true worship. Amen. What is worship? Worship is an act of love always in motion, always persevering, always enduring, never giving up despite the odds, and always selfless for the good of others that God would be glorified, believed in and accepted into the very hearts of those who are a witness of such a worship. Worship, is a labor of love.

Therefore I take great joy in my labor of love towards you all, as by faith I continue sharing, writing, praying, and believing what God places into my heart, from His heart will indeed find its way into your precious hearts. Amen! This is my labor of love, that all of you will come to the fullness of His love, not only by word but by deed as well, that being the life I live to honor Him that others may see and in such choose Christ. Amen.

You are all dearly loved. This is not through my efforts but all glory to God as it is through His power at work within me, that being faith! which is everlasting. Amen.

We all have ways we remind ourselves, encourage ourselves, and I have three ways to remind myself, and I hope you will find encouragement in this to motivate you as well in your labors of love. God's Word and a quote from my pastor: 'You have to do something you never did, in order to get something you always wanted.' - Pastor Troy Gramling

(1 Corinthians 9:24-27)
(James 1:3-4)
(James 1:17)
(James 1:19-20)
(John 3:16)
(Luke 12:12)
(Matthew 25:21-23)

As you look up the verses, and meditate on them, I'll sum it up here in the manner it pertains to me, and my ministry and what are my actual thoughts as I give my time and my attention to n2myheart.blogspot.com: 'Flavio, since God had spoken to you in a vision of your ministry, you have had an unquenchable desire to reach out to others through this platform. I know it's been tough at times. I know many have not reached back out to you and encouraged you. I know that many times you wondered if anyone has read the words God placed into your heart to share with others, even if they cared. But don't give up! You know the prize you desire. The prize you run after. You desire for all others globally to know how much God loves them. So much so, He gave His only begotten Son to come and die for there sins, and anyone who would choose His Son would not perish but have everlasting life. You know this! You know that this labor of love isn't your own but Christ. You know that it's God who gave you this desire, this passion, and that the words you write are not of your own doing, but that of the Holy Spirit. You know that every blessing that comes from this to others as well as yourself is from God. Don't allow disappointment, depression, even fatigue to get the best of you. Continue what He has placed into your heart as a lifetime labor of love. Whatever you do, do not grow angry, do not speak more than you have to, or less than what is needed and called for. But be quick to listen to what God has to tell you, and what others desire to share as well. Be patient, and let patience work itself into you as you continue to reach out to others, praying God will continue to expand and multiply your audience, as in that you will endure, and through that endurance your labor of love in Christ will have its perfect day and be complete, to which you will hear what your soul has desired, "Well done my good and faithful servant...now enter into the joy of your Lord." Amen!!!'

It's my prayer that my audience be multiplied and that the whole world will receive these words that comes from the heart of a man who once hated and did not believe in anything, to now have the love of God at work in Him mightily, to which YOU my reward shall be the saved and redeemed by the precious awe inspiring name of Jesus and His precious blood that was spilled for your Salvation. Remember His labor of love as it is the labor of love we who are called all share in. Amen.

To God be the glory!

Love Week (Part 2): God is a jealous God?

"It starts in the heart and is always wrapped in love" -F. Lugo

Let us pray:

God, thank you for prayer. Thank you that it starts in the heart and is always wrapped in love. Help us to embrace your love more and more. Help us to share your love more and more. Help us to be at peace to receive your love more and more. Help us God to be that very image of your love more and more. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Jealous (defined by Dictionary.com):
1. Solicitous or vigilant in maintaining or guarding something.
2. Bible: Intolerant of unfaithfulness or rivalry.

Now that we have the two healthy definitions to what being jealous is, let's look to God's love for us using those two.

I've heard someone misuse this verse in scripture; misunderstanding God's Word, "For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God," (Deuteronomy 4:24) Saying who is God to be jealous? What kind of an example is that for God to show? As all of us are, when we are uneducated in any area, we do what? Assume. Not only assume but in many cases assume the worst and immediately reject it.

God isn't a jealous God as human beings are jealous of what others have or attained, or accomplished. He doesn't look to vain attributes or desires them. God isn't suspicious, or envious in any way shape or form. Who God is, is a Father; a protector willing to do whatever it takes to protect His children from all intruders, invaders, enemies both foreign (from others) and domestic (from ourselves).

To all parents and parents to be, a greater scope of God's jealous love can be seen, grasped, appreciated and applied to the very households and lives where your children will reside and be a part of. If you had your child being pursued by someone or something, wouldn't you do everything in your power and use everything at your disposal to protect and saved them from harm's way? Of course you would! Whether it's from others or themselves you would display God's jealous love as well.

Therefore look to God's Word you parents, parents to be and this goes for all of us as well. Let us embrace and apply the attributes of God's character. He is! A loving Father. By such, we will see that His jealous love is warranted and quite needed yesterday, today and forever. Amen.

Ask God to come into your lives if you haven't already, and if so, to stir up your faith more and more. Then you too can have such a jealous love for others. Amen.

From now on when we take in the most famous words of all time, spoken by Jesus the most famous man of all time, know that God Himself displayed the greatest love of all time by the greatest sacrifice of all time...Jesus' death on His Cross. Amen.

For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

As always...YOU are loved!

Love Week (Part 1): PROMISES

By His wounds we are healed!

Valentine's Day is quickly approaching, and such a time has been deemed the "Love week." In my heart I wanted to share with all of you all over the world over the course of the next 7 days that love is not exclusive to a week, or a particular group of people. It certainly isn't about candy coated; milk chocolate sweets, not even stuff animals and there companion the infamous bouquet of red roses. No! Love is far more grand then what your local super market carries, or the street vendor may mark up to make a profit off of you. Love is Someone. That's right! Love is a person. Love is sacrifice. Love is unconditional. Love is impartial. Love is eternal. Love is Jesus...God is Love.

Now before you dismiss anything and say to yourselves I already heard this, allow me to open up your heart to something most people on the western part of the world may not know and certainly do not embrace. Love is a covenant. Now, what is a covenant? Thank you for asking. A covenant is a binding contract that much of the world apart from the western world still operates on, and upholds. A covenant has been used through the exchange of one's personal belongings that are considered priceless, or of great wealth. Such as in Africa, where a Christian missionary who desires to share with a tribe the Good News of Christ. They would go into covenant agreement which is binding with the Chief of the village, and would exchange a possession of theirs considered of wealth such as food, medical aid and attention, water, etc.. for a personal item of the Chief that would signify stature to him and his tribe; which would in most cases be his staff. Thereby the missionary walking through the village and lifting up the staff would have the respect, honor and attention of the tribe as if he was the chief.

They're many stories in the Bible that speak to such covenants, but I will only include one and leave you the great joy of seeking the rest for yourselves, as well as in a group. It's located in (1 Samuel chapter 18 in verses 3 through 4), "Then Jonathan and David made a covenantbecause he loved him as his own soulAnd Jonathan took off the robe that was on him and gave it to David, with his armor, even to his sword and his bow and his belt."

Why did I include this story of a covenant transaction? To show the great importance of an exchange of stature. Jonathan was the son of the then king of Israel, and his very status is of a prince. In giving David his garments and belongings, this displayed Jonathan's position of the heir to the throne transferred to David. Such was a reminder to David as well as Jonathan himself that David was to be treated as royalty by him, not to harm him as he wouldn't harm himself, and that he would be treated with love and respect.

This was an exchange of promise between two men.

Another covenant promise not observed in the western society but very much embraced and known by many other cultures and societies as being significant and binding, being of true love, respect and friendship is the greatest covenant; that is the blood covenant. The blood covenant is the exchange of blood through the sacrificing of animals, human beings and a hand shake. This would not only be symbolic of a promise, but the ultimate exchange of promise being that of love, respect, friendship and honor. It was a reassurance to the individuals in the blood covenant promise as there is no closer personal exchange then of blood to rectify a dispute that would otherwise lead to blood shed and death. As the Word of God describes so eloquently, 'For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.' (Leviticus 17:11 NKJV)

The way this covenant was made was through the cutting of the flesh having the blood pour out onto the area that would be the grounds of the sacrifice/offering as a gesture of good will and forgiveness needed, desired and in faith given (as we can see in the message of the Cross of Christ in the Gospels). With men it would be the embrace of hands, flesh upon flesh, blood for blood and a ritual that each man would cross onto the side of the other, symbolically saying what is of yours is now mine. The two would show the place of their wounds and by seeing it they would instantly see the scar and remember the covenant promise they entered into, which was not to take the life of the other for any reason.

This very cut; piercing of the flesh and permanent scar should be both a joyful reminder and encouragement to spur all of us on who believe by faith and receive Jesus as our Savior and Lord to walk worthy of our calling as co-heirs to the throne and ambassadors to this world as if God was making His plead through us (see Romans 8:15-17/2 Corinthians 5:20). Amen. We should all walk both in word and deed wherever we go in joy and victory knowing that both Christ and the Church have permanently switched sides through the sacrifice that was made by Jesus' willingness to pour out His life as a pleasing and perfect sacrifice/offering that both joy and peace would remain between us and God the Father forever (see Philippians 2:8). Amen! Our sin and the penalty of death which was upon us for breaking such a blood covenant, was now upon Jesus who would take on the penalty of the original covenant being broken which was death, and now His holy righteous position as the Son of God was given unto us to be considered children of God (see Isaiah 53:5,12/John 1:12-13/Galatians 3:26). So by One dying many were saved (see Romans 5:15). Amen! Praise the Lord!

So when he hear, read or share the most popular verse in all of existence, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life," let us remember the wound, the scar, the eternal sacrifice that was done for us, and take communion by the very love and commitment we will keep to Jesus our Lord. Amen.

That is a promise that is worthy of celebrating, not merely during Easter, but for all time. God's love seen and known intimately in Jesus is no love week, but an everlasting love. Amen. By the blood of Jesus we who believe in Him are all saved.

By these very words we can rejoice, "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)

This is my prayer and desire for all of us: Let it be onto us in Jesus name. Amen.

For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (Ephesians 3:14-21 NKJV)

She is indeed worth it

'A woman is the emotions
shared with a man
the climax of giving
by the touch of a hand.'

Although created in extreme beauty to captivate the mind, body, and soul, She is rarely seen like this, and often spoken terribly about. On my mind is the grotesquery circulating in this world that slanders Her name, her purpose, her involvement with the greatest thing known to man; the creation of life that exemplifies love at its most captivating. To be created to create is amazing, and should be marveled. Yet, this is rarely the case. Why don't we encourage Her? Why aren't we loving Her? She was created specifically for us.

The world has twisted the image of Her so much, that She believes She isn't worth it anymore. That She isn't the expression and image of "At last!"

She often thinks that she has little purpose if any, other than to be ridiculed, mocked, taken advantage of, and used and abused and tossed away as if she wasn't the appropriate helper.

Throughout this world she is lost, beaten, sold, and destroyed, in the name of hate, but this isn't the way! She was created in the name of LOVE, not LUST.

She is to be spoken of, treated as, and cherished more, than all the gold, rubies, and wealth that can be attained. She is associated with Wisdom, and Longevity. She is assocated with being an encourager, and boldness and more fierce than a lion. She is compared to having more beauty, and a greater scent, and commading of attention, than a fully blossomed field of gorgeous flowers.

She is what He should adore, cherish, attend to, care for, and rise higher than His own expectations to protect and provide for. She was taken from Him, for Him. She is protection for Him, and even protection from Himself.

She is indeed worth it... She is WOMAN
