“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Beloved, here’s a quick post but a tremendous seed of blessing. God desires to be in community with us; in fellowship with our very heart, mind, body and soul. He desires for us to have a total dependency on Him.
But we have an enemy that desires for such a community; such a fellowship to be broken. How so? Satan knows he can’t separate God from us, so he attacks our prideful ways, causing a wall; a great chasm between us and God...
“By pride comes nothing but strife, But with the well-advised is wisdom.” (Proverbs 13:10)
The more we give into a prideful spirit, whether it be by our own selfish ways or giving into the compliments of others, we create a wall all around us. So great and impenetrable is this wall, we can not overcome it in order to be in fellowship with God again.
“Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall.” (Proverbs 19:18)
But there’s good news. The walls, the enemy builds up all around us through our prideful ways, can only come crashing down by praising and worshipping God for how good He is. For what good things He has done, is doing and will do.
“A man’s pride will bring him low, But the humble in spirit will retain honor.” (Proverbs 29:23)
This new praising spirit, creates a character in us that breathes out a victorious declaration by faith, and through the power of God moving in such praise, our enemy is defeated and the walls of adversity keeping us from fellowship with our God come crashing down! Amen.
What is the result? Us and God are once again close to each other. Hallelujah and Amen!
Beloved, you can read about walls of adversity and the declaring words and actions by faith that brought them crashing down right HERE.
