Beloved, grace and peace to you in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, causing you to receive Him, confess Him and be saved by Him. Amen.
For the last three years I have used Facebook, Twitter and this Blog as a platform to share the Lord Jesus with you— God’s grace, His Word and His Salvation plan...
I haven’t always brought it to you in a direct manner but sadly in a sugar coated watered down manner that doesn’t lead to your saving grace, but no more! As I continue to share the love of God, not a love that holds you and tells you everything is going to be fine, but as Love Demands; doing what is necessary, that your soul will not be condemned.
Just as in life, it is with our souls. It’s a great mystery to those who do not believe, but to those who do believe, it’s Salvation onto Christ and Christ Jesus alone. Amen. Our words will either acquit us or condemn us. Sadly many of us do not know the great power we have been given. Many say, just as I have said before, this power is called “free will” but I believe this phrase or statement causes us to fall into the trap of believing we can do as we please and we won’t suffer the consequences. But truly it isn’t defined as “free will” but a choice!
Truly all of life is a choice. We as a human race fail everyday in making the appropriate choices that lead to a better life. I know I do.
But nevertheless, all of life and eternity is a choice. As we can all agree on, in life, there’s choices to be made. Some lead to good things and others, well, they’re not good at all!
For our eternities, as this is for the one who believes, it is the same. We have a choice, and this is one choice ALL OF US CANNOT AFFORD TO CHOOSE UNWISELY. This choice is life and death. Certainly no one in their right mind would choose death. Simple enough right? Well, whenever we are presented with the only Salvation message and plan that doesn’t exclude any particular tongue, tribe or nation, why don’t we plainly choose life?
The answer is belief. Belief seems to be a tricky word. But truly it isn’t! It’s a word that can be encapsulated by this one action— Confessing.
Confession causes a man/woman to humble themselves and confess what wrong they have done. To acknowledge where they stand, and how they aren’t strong enough, wise enough or rich enough to accomplish it on their own. Confession is the single most excellent moment of a person’s life as it creates a door of opportunity before God.
Confession, leads to humility. Humility leads to prayer. Prayer leads to desiring to seek out God. Seeking out God leads to turning away from our wicked ways and turning to God’s glorious ways (repentance). Repentance leads to God forgiving us. Being forgiven leads to restoration before God’s presence. And being in God’s presence can only be described as “PARADISE.”
Beloved, many of us, and I say many and not all, desire to be in a place we have uttered from our mouths whenever we think of a place that is good. A place that is peace. A place of eternal rest. A place those who have died have gone to. A place we want our loved ones to go to. This place known as “Heaven.” Yet, this place is not attainable by simply dying, or wishful thinking. Just as with all other destinations. There is a route to get to it. There is a guide to get us there. And there is a payment required to get there. But here’s the good news. None of us know where heaven is at. None of us know how to get there. None of us have enough to pay our way to heaven. But there is One who comes from there. There is One who can lead us there. There is One who can make the payment for us— His name is Jesus and He is God!
•God resided in heaven before He came to us—That’s a truth none of us can afford to miss out on.
•God certainly knows the way to heaven— He is the Way!
•God in the form of man; Jesus Christ, gave His life on the Cross— His very blood is the only payment worthy to acquire entrance into God’s eternal presence.
His very Word, educates us for our desired destination, although much of the time they’re dismissed, but as I mentioned earlier, we have the power of CHOICE! Here are His words:
“I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)
Can you envision the sound of the voice that calls out “last boarding call!” When such words are heard. Everything is dropped and we make a mad dash to the entrance of the gate that leads to our desired destination. Jesus is that very gate. He is that elevator leading to our desired destination. By receiving and confessing Jesus, we too, just as with all passengers heading to their desired destination will breathe that ever growing sigh of relief! Those words uttered by Jesus above, are those very words. Let us not miss the only way to heaven... LAST BOARDING CALL!
