For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time. (1 Timothy 2:5-6 NLT)
Journalism: That insatiable desire to follow the source to its final conclusion despite the obstacles, danger, or criticism received. One must; one is persuaded to seek out the truth to its final conclusion at all cost. This is true journalism at its finest, and for the one who has embraced such a career (has heard and received such a calling), when it comes to the message of Jesus Christ, your personal views before investigating it, should matter not. Investigate, follow the source, make notes, weigh out the facts, draw your own conclusion and decide for yourself what is the truth.
A prayer for the journalist:
Father, I thank you that you have given your Son to us that we may know Him and be reconciled to you. All truth is found in your Son, and I ask you for you alone can cause this to be. Let the journalists of the world not be blinded to the truth, but be without bias and without preconceive notions when looking to your Son and in Whom He has been declared to be—the Savior of the world. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
