“A New Thing”

Beloved, do you want God to do a new thing in you and your life? If so, this is for you! With that being said, I now invite you into my HEART...

**RECEIVE THE BLESSING**

“Brothers and sisters, in light of all I have shared with you about God’s mercies, I urge you to offer your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice to God, a sacred offering that brings Him pleasure; this is your reasonable, essential worship. Do not allow this world to mold you in its own image. Instead, be transformed from the inside out by renewing your mind. As a result, you will be able to discern what God wills and whatever God finds good, pleasing, and complete” (Romans 12:1-2 The Voice).

I am someone who absolutely rejoices in the seeking and knowing of insight: Here is some insight to further position you to experience a “New Thing” from the Lord.

Paul (the divinely inspired writer, disciple, apostle, evangelist, church planter, theologian and living sacrifice for the glory of God through the redemption of Jesus Christ, wrote the majority of the New Testament books and the above passages from scripture) by way of the Holy Spirit, urges those who read and hear his letter to respond to the good news by offering their bodies—eyes, ears, mouths, hands, feet—to God as a “living sacrifice.” Paul knows well enough that sacrifices end in death, not life. But the sacrifice of Jesus changes everything. His resurrection steals life from death and makes it possible for those who trust in Him to become a sacrifice and yet live. But how do we live? We do not live as before, wrapping ourselves in the world and its bankrupt values. We live in constant renewal and transformation of our minds.

These words above go far beyond what many of us are willing to do or desire to see. Resistance and refusal (nonconforming) to be a part of certain things is where the snare catches us. We diligently need to seek out God to be able to discern (prove) what is worldly (leading to separation from God and spiritual death) and what is Godly (leading to fellowship with God and eternal life).

But here’s the kicker, in order for wisdom and understanding to come to us we must seek out God for that “new thing” He has for us. So as we receive such revelation from Him, our minds will be renewed, and if our minds are renewed our hearts will be renewed. And if our hearts are renewed our actions are renewed, and if our actions are renewed our souls are being transformed. Transformation doesn’t come by speaking, thinking and doing the same things, but looking to God to see, speak and do things in a new way.

Even what we think we know of God and His Word must always be renewed and transformed or we will be caught up in that snare of THINKING we know it all, and then God can no longer work His miracles in us and through us, as we think we already know Him.

Beloved, I do not desire for us as a people to be ignorant of the ways of God, that is why I rejoice to continually and with a steadfast heart look to the Lord to continue to do that new thing (Isaiah 43:19) in me, that I will prove what is that good, acceptable and perfect will of God, and further be example to you, then you too, will be faithful witnesses and living sacrifices to the glory of God the Father through the Lord Jesus Christ and in the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. As well as being faithful witnesses and testimony of God’s will for my life as a faithful servant and follower of the Lord, but also a teacher with a shepherds heart that is overlooking His flock like the elder He has raised me up to be. All glory be to God as He steadfastly continues to cultivate in me, hallelujah, the Shepherd’s heart. Amen.

Therefore, rejoice! For as the Lord God moves and creates all things good and pleasing to Him, and He has done a new thing in me, He too, if you diligently seek Him out not conforming to this world but being transformed by the renewing of your minds, will do a new thing in you! Amen.

As always... YOU ARE LOVED.
