Repent: “At an hour you do not know”

The tracks have been undone, the way lays desolate and bare. If only help would come my way. Behold! For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end.

The screeching is the pain the smoke is the sorrow

The glory, the beauty, the majesty, the excellence, even to the mystery of, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” is for all men to worship the Living God who extends grace to all! Halleluyah!

Repent: This word has been defined as a changing in direction yet mere mortals as the human race is, cannot fully fathom the excellence of a change of course; a change of heart, a change of desires, a change of attitude, a change in all things for the supreme glory of God who saves all who call on the name of His Son Jesus. Halleluyah and amen. With that said and the words above in bold beginning to create curiosity in you, I now invite you Into My HEART...

“Just joking” “Just kidding”

Just as damaging as a madman shooting a deadly weapon is someone who lies to a friend and then says, “I was only joking.” (Proverbs 26:18-19 NLT)

The above words reminded me of the many times I heard two very popular sayings in this day and age and surprisingly they are not reserve for only children but to my amazement adults use it as well! These are two saying that light fire into me: “Just kidding” and “just joking.” They anger me something fierce. I would go so far as to say these two sayings anger me as much as hearing daily wherever I go, people using the Lord’s name and all His characteristically revealing names in vain.

There is a shame behind such sayings and there is a great calamity riding behind it like a shark in the midst of a wave. Those to whom express themselves in such foolish ways, are only positioning themselves to experience pain now and later.

When “just jokin’” and “just kidding” begins it may very well seem playful, childish even, yet what about the saying, ‘what you teach now they learn and will do later.’ In all manner, your words and actions whether looked upon as wise or foolish before the sight of God and men, they have power. They have the ability to deposit and stir up life or death. What about the child or friend, or spouse or parent, who in their hurt lash out and apply to their hurtful words and actions a “just joking,” “just kidding” to it. Will it be taken well? Will it be seen as playful? Will it hurt less? Is it children at play? I think not!

It will result in disaster. It will result in conflict. It will result in separation even divorce. It will result in a disowning of relatives. It will result in friendships ending. It will result in pain and inevitably whether now or later, in regret even resentment.

Oh how I pray, such sayings as I see them truly to be foolish, despicable even, to be done away with O Lord. Oh that we will be a people that will embody this, “let your yes be yes and your no be no,” that being a people who speak truth, speak with clarity, speak with kindness and humility and speak what is on our mind instead of hiding behind sayings that leave much to the imagination and make way for the enemy to create division between those who you meant to be in close proximity to each other even as one in marriage and also even to the degree of playfulness. May our play, O Lord, be children at play, not in a mean manner, but as it is before your eyes, “pure in heart.” Amen.

God the Wise Employer not the unwise employer

Like an archer who wounds at random is one who hires a fool or any passer-by.
(Proverbs 26:10 NIV)

As I read the above verse in scripture I immediately thought of the verses in scripture below concerning the owner of the vineyard and even now I ask myself if God wanted me to know that others also have read and would read the verse above and think of the verses below and think Him an unwise employer who employs His ministers or workers of the Gospel with unwise methods rather than with all wisdom, harmony and order. Therefore, I ask of the Lord of the harvest now, “Oh Lord, you alone know all things and you alone stand sovereign above all things and all peoples of the earth. You own all things and you are the Creator of all things of heaven and of the earth. You possess all wisdom, knowledge and understanding and who are we, the dust of the earth to know your ways. Yet O Lord, I desire to defend your honor, I desire to uphold your glorious Word. You have no need for anyone to defend you, nor do you have need to defend yourself, because to you alone has always existed and shall continue to be, all glory, honor, power, praise, dominion and rule forever and ever. Halleluyah. And although it is a certainty you are victorious and all your ways shall always prevail, allow me Lord, according to what you have shown me, speak for you as it was with Moses in the wilderness, for surely who was Moses to speak on your behalf to a people, and yet, you bestowed the man Moses the greatest of privileges, that He would personally, intimately and powerfully know you and be the “mouthpiece” of God, so if it pleases my Lord, let me your lowly servant who is unfit to be compared to your prophet Moses even in the slightest, but even now O Lord my God, your servant can receive by your Spirit, wisdom and boldness to speak of you and speak well, so that a people will know and a people will be silenced in their foolish ways. I pray now O Lord, that if I have found favor before your sight you would enlighten my spirit, you would fill your Word into me and place your will upon my lips and open my mouth so I may speak and your ways will be heard. Let it be so O Lord my God, that it is I who has the privilege, it is I who am humbled by your grace and if you will allow it a people will hear your Word and according to your grace and mercy, gain understanding towards your good, perfect and pleasing will. Amen. With that prayed, I now invite you Into My HEART...

The Good Samaritan

You have all heard the story of The Good Samaritan, yet now hear the story as it pertains to you, to me, to all. Praise the Lord. Receive the revelation and may Christ Himself settle this word in your heart to be a wellspring of life if indeed it is truth. Amen. With that said, I now invite you Into My HEART...
