A Glimpse: It’s Nature, It’s Definition, His Promise


A Glimpse
 
“When we look into the perfect Law of God, we see a glimpse of better things to come. When we beheld His glory, the glory as only the begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth, we saw yet another glimpse. However, as defined in this world, a glimpse is a very brief passing look or a slight appearance. In conversation with the Lord, I can’t help but thank Him for not revealing everything to us about our celestial home. Especially for me. I was one of those kids who would peak into his Christmas gifts and try to get his birthday gifts early. To patiently wait upon that moment that shall take place in a “blink of an eye” and then the believer in Jesus shall forever be ushered into it, is tough at times, but make no mistake this patient waiting is to our benefit. As it has been said, “when your life has come to its end, it’s good to get your affairs in order.” With that being said, I now invite you into my HEART...
