Giving Thanks

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstancs; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus
(1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

Beloved, it’s an amazing privilege and honor to give thanks in all situations. It isn’t easy, but as you look to the Lord our God, He will give you a heart of thanksgiving in every situation. This thanksgiving, it’s my aim that you will see giving thanks for all things and in every situation as a supreme blessing from God that can revolutionize your way of living life, as the Word of God speaks revelation to us in that it’s declared, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7).

What better way to start your thanksgiving day then with THANKSGIVING. Below, are my ABC’S of thankfulness to God for all He has done, is doing and will do in my life. Amen. Beloved, as I do, you also do. YOU ARE LOVED.

The Alphabet of Thanksgiving

I’m thankful to God for His AMAZING grace. How sweet it is. Bless His Holy name!

I’m thankful to God for every BREAKTHROUGH in my life. Bless His Holy name!

I’m thankful to God for His COURAGE when I lacked it, and needed it. He is faithful! Bless His Holy name. Amen.

I’m thankful to God for DEMONSTRATING His love to us while we were still sinners when Christ died on the Cross. Glory, power and honor be to the Lord forever and forever! Amen.

I’m thankful to God for EVERY good work He has started and will finish in me till the day of Christ Jesus. Amen.

I’m thankful to God FOR being my glory, and for you beloved, my reward. In whom I take great pleasure in spending myself and being spent ,that you would know the grace and mercy of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

I’m thankful to GOD for always leading the way with an unrelenting willingness to be example. Amen.

I’m thankful to God that HELL no longer has a reserved spot for my soul as I am a new creation in Christ, and upon believing in Him Jesus, it was a done deal that I would not perish but have everlasting life. Amen Lord Jesus! 

I’m thankful to God that I have been given the right to be called a child of God through Christ Jesus and that He alone, counted me faithful to appoint me into His ministry. Yes! Hallelujah.

I’m thankful to God that He is, JEHOVAH Jireh, the Lord who provides for us. Amen.

I’m thankful to God that I have the immense privilege and great honor to serve under the KING of kings and the Lord of lords. Hallelujah!

I’m thankful to God for His unconditional and sacrificial LOVE that I will always experience, as I look to the Cross of Christ. Bless His Holy name! Amen.

I’m thankful to God for His ordained creation called MARRIAGE. For it is the great mystery of Christ and the Church, that men and women are privileged to have the honor of partaking in it. Hallelujah!

I’m thankful to God for NEVER forsaking me or abandoning me. You are worthy of my praise O Lord! Amen.

I’m thankful to God for the OPPORTUNITY to experience baptism with Him. In that, I have died to myself and have resurrected in Christ Jesus. Amen!

I’m thankful to God for His PROPHETIC Word to us, in that Christ was preached to the nation of Israel to be their God and the Savior to the Gentiles. Hallelujah and Amen.

I’m thankful to God for QUIET time to reflect on His goodness. Amen.

I’m thankful to God for REVELATION. As Christ breathed His last, my revelation began! Bless His Holy name. Amen!

I’m thankful to God for His Holy SPIRIT. Because of the Helper and Counselor, I am taught all things and constantly reminded of my Savior, Lord Jesus! Amen.

I’m thankful to my God for the ever expanding TREASURY of my heart. Where the Word of God resides in, causing me to love you beloved. Bless His Holy name. Amen.

I’m thankful to God for a sense of URGENCY in preaching the Word of God in the manner He has gifted and called me to do so. Praise the Lord!

I’m thankful to God that as the Lord Jesus breathed His last, the VEIL was torn, and now we all can approach the throne of grace with confidence. Bless the Lord O my soul and bless His holy name! Amen.

I’m thankful to God for His signs and WONDERS. May they never cease! Amen.

I’m thankful to God that by His mercy and grace He lead me by hand and freed me. I am no longer in captivity; I am no longer in eXILE, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever! Bless His Holy name! Amen.

I’m thankful to our Great God and Savior in that He is YHWH, The Great I AM, in whom I dare not utter the powerful name of His Majesty on High, unless to bring glory and praise to His Holy name. Praise Him that the fear of the Lord is in me! Hallelujah and Amen!

I’m thankful to God for His dwelling place ZION, in whom the Lord will fight for as He has declared her His! Amen Lord Jesus!

Beloved, this is what the Lord spoke into me one day at the beginning of my walk, that I would count my life and eternity all joy, “You will not be a rich man, but you will be a thankful man.” Amen and hallelujah! Therefore, I give thanks to the Lord my God for every good thing He has given me, is giving me and will give me for all good things come from the Father above. Amen!

Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever 
(Psalms 107:1)
